Experience
Vajira Lasantha is a civil engineer with a specialized focus on water and sanitation engineering. Holding an MSc in Sustainability from the United Nations University and an MEng in Urban Environmental Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Vajira brings a broader persepctive of environmental sustainability to our work. His professional experience include the design of various large scale wastewater and water supply projects around Sri Lanka. He has expertise in modelling and design of urban water systems and has conducted some of the pionering work in water quality modelling for design of water distribution systems in Sri Lanka. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Stockholm Resilience Centre, where he engages in research on global water resilience.
